2970 students will get scholarships across the entire island, and 30 deserving students will be chosen from each of the island’s 99 education zonal offices. For a maximum of 24 months, the selected students would get Rs. 5,000/= per month. As a result, in order to be eligible for the A/L scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a government school or a free private school and have a household income of no more than 75,000 Rupees.
Scholarship applicants should request the necessary forms from the School principal, fill them out, and deliver them to the principal by December 23, 2022, along with any pertinent recommendations from the Grama Niladhari Officer indicating the family’s financial situation.
