    Malay Restaurant was born in 1981 out of a dream, inheriting the legacy of the generation old legendary ‘Rasa Sayang’, the one and only authentic Malay Food outlet in Bambalapitiya until then, a passion and a leap of faith and the focus of the Proprietor, Mr. Ayub Muthalip has been faithful adherence of original recipe for sensational Malay cuisines and cleverly blended with Malay, Chinese, Indian and Arabic cuisines to offer a variety of Malay Food Specialties.
    Today the restaurant is managed by Malay Fast Foods (Pvt) Ltd, a food and beverage private limited company. Whereby it proudly owns chain of Restaurants and runs a successful catering business together with operating takeaway outlets around Colombo and Maldives.
